The path traveling to Nazareth unto Jerusalem was a familiar journey for many, although. It unfurled through the rolling hills with valleys scattered with olive groves. Pilgrims often make the trek by donkey, stopping along small villages for rest and refreshment. A journey signified both physical travel also a spiritual one, since the travelers were head towards the Holy City, a place held great weight for them.
